About this Case Study

Three senior delivery managers plot to build a high performing team of delivery managers, with a focus on ‘team’. We set out to guide this group of delivery managers to understand that by working together as a more performant team, they could achieve better delivery at a programme level and also within their teams.

We’ll talk about what helped us go from ‘storming’ to ‘performing’ teams, including:

  • using Improvement Kata to define more manageable targets
  • focusing on team health
  • coaching the team to coach the team
  • ramping up internal communications
  • using tricks from our own toolbox, like the anti-problem game and delivery manager team retros

We’ll also talk about where we still have work to do.

Come along to our session to learn how building a stronger delivery management team can benefit your whole programme.
