Why design sprints rock

A 45 minute Case Study by:

About this Case Study

We have all seen projects that could have gone better. Often this can be put down to one of two causes:

  • the approach/solution is based on assumptions which haven't been validated with users, or
  • lack of shared understanding/trust between the team and stakeholders has impacted on delivery

From our experiences, Google Design sprints are an excellent way to get projects off to the right start and address these issues.

This session will be a case study of our experiences of running design sprints for a range of organisations. Our aim is to help people understand the benefits that sprints can bring, how to get the most from them and how to avoid some of the pitfalls. We'll also talk about some of the ingredients for a successful design sprint and situations where design sprints are less appropriate.
