About this Workshop

In this session Alberta Bosco (Puppet) talks about a concept that's occasionally used in DevOps and agile talks but is never quite explored from a sociological point of view.

She will give you the basic knowledge participants need to simulate the formation and development of a community of practice. It's a full immersion experience with the aim of starting a way of working together within your organisation - a way suitable for the objective of delivering better software, faster.

The workshop will be structured in the following way:

  • pick a few topics, eg cloud adoption, CI/CD, DevOps ecosystem
  • create groups in which every person plays a role to complete the project the group has chosen
  • discuss current ways of working on a project, and ideas for improvements in order to deliver better software, faster
  • share the results of the discussion

Participants will leave with ideas and insights only an open discussion with people from different backgrounds can generate.
